THE CUT IS MY short(ish)-form Ensworth Football recap series, built to be sharp, cinematic, and stripped of anything that slows down the story. Each episode breaks its respective week game down to its essentials: the momentum swings, the hidden details, and decisions that changed the team.
TELL YOUR STORY is the full-production documentary miniseries following the 2025 Ensworth Football team through a tumultuous season. With over a year in production, editing in my basement through a historic ice storm, and tens of hundreds of hours of interviews and footage, the Ensworth creative team delivered an inside, all-access look at how a premiere high school football team operates.
The series draw on the pacing and attitude of Oregon’s Ducks vs. Them, the clean narrative flow of Arizona State’s The Recap, the emotion of Mizzou’s Mini Movies, and the stylistic clarity of BYU’s version of The Cut. The result is a format that feels fast, intentional, and grounded in what actually happened on the field.
It’s not a highlight reel or hype for hype’s sake – it’s the truth of the game, delivered with a filmmaker’s eye and a cutter’s precision. You can watch all six episodes of TELL YOUR STORY and five selected episodes of THE CUT below.
